Join Capital City Village for BYOL at noon on Wednesday, May 20, at Frost Bank on Mopac. We will explore over 150 years of Austin's history through the stories of Chateau Bellevue, home of the Austin Woman's Club.

The Three P’s of Chateau Bellevue — Place, Person, Preservation

Built in 1874 and renovated as a "chateau" in 1892 by Major Ira H. Evans and renowned architect Alfred Giles, this historic limestone mansion at 708 San Antonio was purchased by the Austin Woman’s Club in 1929. Today, it serves as a vibrant community center welcoming over 8,000 visitors annually.

Former Austin Woman’s Club (AWC) President Anne Yeakel will share the inside story of the Chateau.
